GAMBOA BAT NIGHTS @ Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute Gamboa Laboratory in Gamboa 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Rachel Page Bat Lab hosts ‘Bat Night in Gamboa’. Monthly public outreach event, open to all the family. Guests are invited to see live bats captured in mist nets and to learn more about their natural history. It is advisable to wear rubber boots or other closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a long sleeved shirt. You can bring insect repellent if needed. Bring a headlight or other flashlight. You can take photos. Bat t-shirts for sale during the event. Free admission.
