The Festival Patronales de La Virgen de Santa Librada is an annual Panamanian festival that includes traditional activities and live music. The celebration is in honor of Santa Librada, the patron saint of Las Tablas. The highlight of the festival is the Festival de la Pollera, this is when local ladies wear their most impressive polleras. In Panama, the pollera is considered the National Costume. Polleras are the Panamanian outfits used for traditional festivals and folklore.

This local and cultural event will impress all who attend! The Festival is held in Las Tablas on Thursday July 20 - July 22nd. Come join in the fun and learn the history!
