Pay Phones Still Exist in Panama~ All Lot of Them!

In a world where it is thought there are more cellphones than people, Panama still has many working payphones throughout the country. The structures bearing the brand name of "Cable & Wireless Panama" are often found in the most unusual places.

The country code is 507. There are no local area codes in Panama.

While traveling in in country for an extended amount of time, it is easy to get a SIM card for around $5 and top up your phone and internet minutes as you go.

Make sure you have an unlocked cell phone.
