The "s" shaped dish is prepared from yellow corn, which is milled and prepared with white cheese and salt which is then deep fried in oil. The traditional dish is believed to have been originated int the hands of local peasants in earlier times.

This super crunchy food is ideal to accompany roasted meat, smoked pork and steak, among other typical Panamanian dishes.
