Day 182 of 365 Things To Do in Panama
Day 182 of 365 Things To Do in Panama. Watch the Gay Pride Parade!

According to Panama Today, The Gay Pride Parade will gather more than 10,000 people in Panama on July 1 and will be attended by the first lady of the country, Lorena Castillo de Varela, who is a special ambassador of the United Nations, according to organizers.
"The first lady was invited to be a champion not because she is the first lady, but due to her campaign at the United Nations to erradicate discrimination against people with HIV," said the president of the Association of New Men and New Women of Panama (AHMNP) Ricardo Beteta.
The parade, which this year will use the motto "Panama, the sum of all," will be held for the first time on the seafront of the Panamanian capital known as Cinta Costera.
The parade will feature floats, musical bands, customized car caravans and mobile units.
