The Festival of the Painted Hat is celebrated in the municipality of La Pintada and reveals the work of the artisan pintadeños and the skill of making the hat of Panama.
The festival starts from October 13th to 19th and coincides with the founding of the district, which for the pintadeños is one of pride, because it is about different activities that pay tribute to the land of the painted hat and has made it known to the tourist sector. The hat fair is totally free, enjoy the great parade of a thousand hats and carts, as well as the oratory contest, among other activities that leave the town elated. The National Hat Festival is expected to have more than 80 artisans from all over the district and surrounding areas who will exhibit different handicrafts and agricultural products.
